 The authors conducted to test sensitivity of three Plasmodium falciparum strains (T96- Chloroquine sensitive
  K1- Chloroquine resistant and F25 strains) which were cultured continuously in the laboratory of department of Malaria treatment and research with available anti-malarial drugs: Piperaquine, Chloroquine, Dihydroartemisinin by two different methods: ELISA and Beale-Thaithong techniques. Experiment was conducted two times in July 2011 and August 2012 in order to compare the result similarity of the two methods before Beale - Thaithong can be replaced by Elisa technique for testing parasite sensitivity in the laboratory. Research results showed that although IC50 values in ELISA technique were higher than its calculated using Beale-Thaithong method around 5-15 percent but both results were within the limits allowed. There was no significant difference between the sensitivity of P. flaciparum strains with of anti-malarial drugs measured by ELISA and Beal-Thaithong methods (p0.05). Particular values of MIC of both methods were similar.
