The basic assessment is an important issue that affects greatly to the audit activities of the auditors. The determination of the critical level will impact perspective, the approach and the amount of auditing of the auditors. Through study and practice survey, the author raises the process on the basic assessments in the audit firms with foreign elements in Vietnam.
