Infantile Hemangiomas are common benign tumors, that may afffect many organs. With visceral hemangiomas, the most commonly the liver. Traditional therapeutic options have risk of side effects significant. Cutaneous hemangiomas were treated successfully with propranolol in life threatening and some researchs used tor symtomatic hepatic hemangiomas. The authors decided to use oral propranolol for a neonate that present cutaneous and symtomatic hepatic hemangiomas. The result was good, the baby was discharged after 3 weeks of treatment, with no side effect. Propranolol should be considered as a potential first-line therapy in patients with symptomatic hepatic hemangiomatosis.
