A new derivative of dihydrohaematinic acid named diodictyonema A (1), toghether with two megastigmanes, 5, 11-epoxy-3,9-megastigmanediol (2) and 5-megastigmene-3,9-diol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3) were isolated from the methanol extract of Diospyros dictyonema leaves. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including ESI-MS, 1D- and 2D-NMR in comparison with the literature values. Compound 2 was isolated for the first time from nature.
