In the trend of renovating the present teacher training process, each teacher - training institution has impact on solutions tp renovate teaching methodologies with the purpose of improving the quality of techer education and general education as well to meet the needs of society and the requirements set by general education. However, it can be assessed that the teaching methodology in teacher training institutions has not yet kept pace with the realities of general education. It means that the renewal of teaching methodologies in the university of education has not yet been seriously defined as an urgent requirement. From what has been said above, the article suggests some possible solutions to be likely implemented by the university of education in order to improve teaching and learning activities in contribution to renewing the teaching methodology as the functions and role of the "propeller".
