Nowadays, the static transportation is a necessary solution to ensure traffic safety and prevent congestion in our urban areas. Based on the survey data consisting of parking demands, and the use and operation of urban-road cross section for the mixed traffic, the paper presents research results (basic and methodology) for parking planning and stop-lane on urban road network, which are now suitable for Vietnamese transportation conditions such as construction areas, investment funds, safety, comfort and anti-congestion. The results have applied for the road network of Nha Trang city.
