The concept of logistics and logistics services is still quite new in Vietnam even though they have appeared for decades in the world. From 2005, Vietnam has had regulation of logistics service definition and logistics activites. However, logistics companies have been quite confised in evaluating business performance and logistics performance of the companies. This paper introduces the logistics performance metrics to Vietnam logistics companies to apply and evaluate as well as manage their own logistics activities.
