Objective: Study the relationships between perceived self-efficacy and health promoting behaviours of type 2 diabetes patients. Subjects: 92 type 2 diabetes patients in Thai Nguyen General Hospital. Methods: Describe, using Pearson correlation coefficient. Results and conclusions: There were significant between perceived self- efficacy and health promoting behaviours (r = 0,531, P 0,01) of type 2 diabetes patients. Since then that nurses should have a plan to promote and support health-promoting behaviors and improve the patient's confidence of patients with type 2 diabetes.
