Children with asthma living with parental smoking are often suffered from severe, uncontrolled asthma. The study was to assess the knowlegde and attitudes of parental smoking and the Nicotine addiction of smokers. The results indicated that 49.28 percent of children living with smoking fathers. 24.3 percent of them were exposed to passive smoking. Among the smoking fathers, 54.6 percent of them aadict smoking at very low and low levels in comparision with 27.3 percent at high level. 94.2 percent of parents agreed that children have right to live in free-smoking enviroment and 90 percent of parents think passive smoking causes asthma and asthma attacks. Parents of children with asthma, especially parental smokers should understand the effects of smoking on child's health, thus may change the smoking behaviour as well as protection their children from passive smoking.
