Laryngotracheal stenosis is due to many causes and also has many treatment methods for each kind of the stenosis scar. However, less studies about clinical features-lesion apperances and estimation for the treatment results of the laryngotracheal stenosis for individual methods in Vietnam, so far. The study was conducted to find out clinical features-lesion apperances of the laryngotracheal sten.osis group indicated with laryngotracheal endoscopic dilatation and estimating the treatment results. The results showed that the most common lesion was hyperplasia (44.4 percent) and thin membrane (35.6 percent), the most common lesion site was the larynx (53.3 percent). The lesion degree Cotton II was the highest (44.5 percent). After operation from 1 to 3 times all of the patients extubate succesfully. In conclusion, in the laryngotracheal stenosis, the endoscopic dilatation was a high effectiveness treatment approach that is applied to the lesions like hyperplasia, thin membrane, thin fibrous circle or cartilage collapse at the early stage.
