On the basis of determining the characteristics of scientific research, the significance of scientific research for students, the author points out a number of limitations in the research activities of students at university. As a result, the author proposes a number of measures to strengthen scientific research activities of students in order to improve the efficiency of research activities and contribute to improving the quality of training human resources for the country in the context of international integration at present.
