Objective of this study was to asscess surgical nasal septum deformities by endoscopy at Hue Central Hospital and University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital of Hue. The results showed that 61 patients, male (62.3 percent) and female,(37.7 percent), group 16-30 years accounted for the highest percentage 57.4 percent. Mucosal insision types: Killian incision 68.9 percent, 18 percent T incision and local incision 13.1 percent. Mucosal closure 82 percent, 18 percent of non-closure. Bilateral merocel packed 50.8 percent, 34.4 percent meche increase, unilateral merocel packed 9.8 percent, Plastic inserted 3.3 percent and mucosal septum sutured 1.7 percent. The rate of complications in surgery: unilateral mucosal septum laceration: 21.3 percent and1.6 percent bilateral. The rate of postoperative complications: bleeding 1.6 percent and 1.6 percent adhesive turbinate. Re-examination after 3 months 4.9 percent nasal congestion, headache 1.6 percent, 3.3 percent sneezing, sinusitis 4.9 percent. Results at discharge: 83.6 percent good, 16.4 percent normal, bad 0 percent. Results after 3 months: 90.2 percent good, 9.8 percent, normal. In conclusions, treatment septal deformities by endoscopic surgery shouwed many advantages, better results and few complications.
