From March 2010 to July 2011, 45 patients with nonunions, pseudarthrosis of tibia and femur shaft bone were treated with internal fixation, autologous bone marrow and artificial bone grafting in Institute of Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery, Viet Duc Hospital, with at least 7 months follow-up. None of the patients had complications in. Bone union was obtained in 42/45 of patients (93.3 percent) at an average of 6.6 months (range, 4-16 months). One case is nonunion, One case is Infected, One case to break off plate. Internal fixation, autologous bone marrow and artificial bone grafting is effective method to treatment of the femur and tibia non unions.
