Objective: To study the value of treatment for esophageal cancer in late stages of laparoscopic surgery instead of the esophagus with the stomach by Akiyama method. Methods: prospective study and retrospective, cross-sectional descriptive in 46 patients with 1/3 middle - below esophageal cancer. It was determined by the preoperative clinical symptoms
paraclinical stage was late. The surgical results were confirmed as the gold standard staging. Results: As for the duration of laparoscopic surgery, the chest was 42.6 + or - 21.6 minutes (30-120 minutes). Surgical time: 106.8 + or - 50.9 minutes (80-180 minutes). Surgical complications: 8.68 percent, 28.23 percent postoperative complications. Good postoperative quality of life amounted to 64.44 percent and the rest 35.56 percent as the bad one. After 5 years, shelf-life surgery was 11.11 percent, depending on disease stage, surgery on the nature and extent of lymph node metastasis... Conclusion: Laparoscopic surgery instead of the esophagus with the stomach by Akiyama is a safe and effective method, creating better quality of life for patients.
