From 2006 to 2011, there are 38 cases with palsy of the common peroneal nerve post trauma operated anterior transfer of the posterior tibial tendon at Viet Duc hospital. The tranferred tendon was fixed cuboid (27/38 cases) or cunelforms (11/38 cases). The means of fixation includes osteoporosis vis or endoscopic vis (14/38 cases), medical sutures (24/38 cases). The excellent and good results are 60.5 percent, normally 36.9 percent, 1 case hasn't been improved post operation (2.6 percent). 2 patients with infection of incision, no severe complications such as haemorrhage or tendon slips off fixed position. There are no patients with acquired flatfoot deformity flowing posterior tibial tendon transfer for peroneal nerve injury.
