Up to now, methane gas explosion has been considered as one of the most dangerous disasters for the underground mining workers. For preventing the accidents caused by methane gas explosion to minimize the loss mining equipment and workforce, besides the technical measures, the training works for increasing the workers' knowledge on the methane gas and coal dust explosion prevention is an essential task. The paper introduces some key results from the implementation of the training program on safety and methane gas explosion prevention in 2012.
