This article points out three kinds of indicators to assess trends and the competitiveness of the Vietnamese coffee industry in recent years. Analysis showed that Vietnamese coffee has advantages in compared to other export items of Vietnam and compared with the product of the world's coffee exports. The increasing of RCA coefficient of Vietnamese coffee demonstrated a comparative advantage in the production of coffee growing in Vietnam.
