Duong thi hop tuyen ngu ngon luat giai am and "Duong thi tuyet cu dien ca" are considered as two precious ancient documents translated into the Nom script. After analyzing these two poems on such aspects as the list of works, authors, genres, the study asserts that Tang poetry was translated into the Nom script very early for the public to enjoy. In addition, the research also realizes the value of two translated works to the development and dissemination of the Nom script, the building of Vietnamese Han-Nom literature imbued with national identity, in which Du Fu's poetry is a significant pioneer in the translation and reception process.
