In this study, platelet products: pooled platelet concentrate (P), 250 single platelet concentrate (single 250), 350 single platelet concentrate (single 350) were prepared by buffy coat method and their quality parameters were assessed at the time immediately after preparation and the end of storage time. Using the parameters of the European standard: average platelet count, average white blood cell count, pH, average red cell count and swirling. Results: A total of 240 platelet concentrates (80 of P, 80 of single 250, 80 of single 350) were assessed. At the time immediately after preparation: mean platelet count, mean white blood cell count, pH, mean red cell count and swirling were met the quality standard. At the end of storage time: the average platelet count, swirling were reduced and the reduction was not statistically significant (p0,05), pH value were reduced and the reduction was statistically significant (p0,05) but parameters were still met the quality standard.
