Le Chieu Thong was the last king of the Le Dynasty. Though he only reigned over Vietnam in a short time and died young, he was considered a coward king with a lot of cursed offences, especially the most ignoble crime of betraying his country. Based on various historical sources of data, the research presents some details about the unlucky life and fate of King Le Chieu Thong. It is hard to see through him when he was the victim of three prominent forces at that time: The Qing Dynasty, who supported him at first, then abandoned him
the n.y Sdn, his enemy in the most difficult period, who pursued him closely
and the Nguyen Dynasty, the last executioner, who wanted to cut all relations with the former dynasty. If considering King Le Chieu Thong during his short time of fleeing to China, then the defeat of Qing invaders that he sought reinforcements, and his last escape to China until his death, he wasn't praiseworthy at all. However, when some credible information is publicised, the author will see that the reality is not completely true as what have known.
