Most of the mountainous areas are the poor residential areas where ethnic minorities live with extremely difficult living standards, so those areas really need to be prioritized for investment and development. In recent years. thanks to the implementation of development policies to support agriculture - forestry, living standards of ethnic minorities has been improved markedly. Therefore, the study of agro-forestry model for people in mountainous areas is needed. However, many issues addressed on the basis of rubbing out poverty, and it is necessary to have practical solutions, continue supporting and facilitating people farming sustainable forestry on land cultivation, gradually changing practices shifting cultivation, intensive farming to increase productivity on land cultivation and forestry development, improve the efficiency of land use contributing to stabilize their lives, create jobs and income from agro-forestry model for people.
