The study was caried out to describe knowledge, practice on maternal-child health care of the mothers with children under 5 at two factories in Thanh Hoa province. The results showed that the proportions of mothers with correct knowledge about prenatal care, tetanus injections and iron tablets during pregnancy were 52.1 percent
31.4 percent and 33.0 percent, respectively
33.9 percent mothers did not know about the monitored signs after birth. The proportions of mothers made over 3 times antenatal care, tetanus injections enough, taking iron supplements during pregnancy were 78.8 percent
86.1 percent and 83.4 percent, respectively
7.4 percent mothers taking self-treatment at home and 20.2 percent going to pharmacy when children are sick. In conclusion: the knowledge, practice of the mothers on maternal-child health care at two factories in Thanh Hoa province has been incompleted.
