The aim of the study was to evaluate some electrocardiographic parameters in healthy 7-15 year old children including: heart rate and rhythm, duration and amplitude of P wave, PQ duration, QRS duration and QRS axis according to age groups. The method used was cross - sectional descriptive study. There were 386 healthy children including 198 males and 188 females divided into 4 age groups. The ECG rerults showed that sinus rhythm (100 percent) with positive P waves in D1, aVF and P maximum amplitude is 2mm height and longest duration is 0.09s. Heart rate had a considerable oscillation and gradually decrease with ages. QRS axis was intermediate and stable with mean value: 62.5° + or - 16.3° to 67.5° + or - 14.4°. In conclusion, some ECG parameters were gained from the study. Continual study on other ECG parameters for other pediatric subjects was needed.
