 Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fifth most common primary tumour in the world, it is the third most common cause of cancer related death. These recommendations provide a data supported approach the indications of hepatectomy in HCC treatment at 108 Military Central Hospital. They are based on the following: (a) Practice Guideneline of the American Association for the Study of Liver diseases (AASLD)(2008)
  (b) Clinical Practice Guidlines in Oncology of the National Comprahensive Cancer Network (NCCN) (2010).
