This paper presents the gas-sensitivity properties at room temperature of polyaniline nanowires (PANi) based gas sensor. The PANi nanwires were synthesized by cyclic voltammetry with 5 cycles, at 25 mV/sA, in 1 M H2SO4. The suitable concentration of aniline is 0.1 M. The gas sensors may detect the concentration of ethanol gas as low as 25 ppm at room temperature. At 100 pmm ethanol, the response time is 39 seconds and the recovery time is found 212 seconds.
