Unsaturated polyester/A200 silica nanoparticles composites were prepared by high rate mixing with unchangeable temperature, then using ultrasound wave with low rate mixing. Dispersion of the A200 silica nanoparticles was characterized by viscosity, SEM, TEM and it was found that the best dispersion route involved in a metanol dispersion technique. The results showed that the viscosity of the resin mixture had linearly increased with A200 silica nanopartic1es loading increasing. The best mechanical properties were obtained at A200 silica nanopartic1es content 1.75 wt percent.
