The study of left ventricular function by cardiac ultrasound and Doppler in 30 patients with chronic anemia showed that: The index of left ventricular morphology in the patient group were higher than the control group. The index of left ventricular systolic function CO, CI, SV, SVI and TST in the patient group were greater than the control group. The index of left ventricular diastolic function and the ratio EmIAm of lower disease control groups, and the ratio EIEm higher than the control group. Tissue Doppler helps to identify the left ventricular diastolic dysfunction sensitive and accurate than conventional Doppler.
