A study on the natural fonn factors of 1162 fallen trees of 34 main commercial species in natural forests in the North Central region found that the trees that had a similar natural fonn factor of stem tree would had a similar natural fonn factor of commercial timber and large stem timber. The two values were followed the nonnal distribution and depended on plant species, however they weekly depended on the local location and generally did not depend on the stem diameter and height The average of relative coefficient of variation (CV) of the natural fonn factors of stem tree were 8 percent and 12 percent for stem tree and large stem timber, respectively. Those characteristics are scientific bases for the application of the natural fonn factor on the development of the volume table of stem tree and large stem timber in the natural forests in the North Central region in the future.
