The authors performed descriptive study of clinical characteristics and MRI on patients cervical disc herniation treated in the Department of Neurology, Thai binh hospital from 1/2010 to 12/2011. A total of 48 shoulder arm syndrome with cervical disc herniation patients are examined by MRI. The are range of the patients was 20 years to 69 years (mean age 47.3) the highest age group is 41-50, rate male/femal = 1,82. Most patients were admitted to hospital during late period of the disease, when they have suffered the symptoms of nerve compression. A number of imaging modalities are available to examine the spinal cord, intervertebral and other peridiscal lesions MRI remains the ideal technique disc disease in diagnosing, cervical spondylosis: cervical spina in 89,6 percent: the height of vartebra bark was high in 75 percent
