Objective: to study clinical, ultrasound images of thyroid carcinoma. Methods: 60 patients suffering from thyroid carcinoma treated with surgical removal. Descriptive prospective study. Results: Common ages 40-65 (46.7 percent), women more than men (4/1). Swallowing difficulties are the most common symptoms. The majority of tumors in one lobe (91.67 percent), neck lymphatic nodule 16,6 percent. Ultrasound signs were: solid nodule (90 percent), hypoecho (80 percent), intranodular microcalcification (55 percent), unclear margination (52 percent). Conclusion: thyroid cancer is poor manifestation of symptoms. Ultrasound is a highly sensitive method for diagnosis. Papillom Carcinoma as the most common and have a good prognosis.
