Vocal fold polyps is benign tumor. Objective: to study clinical, endoscopy and evaluation the results of polypectomy by flexible laryngoscope. Patients and methods: 38 patients with vocal fold polyps were traited by flexible laryngoscope. The authors conducted a descripitve prospective study. Results: Symtoms: hoarseness (100 percent), vocal fatigue (89.5 percent), increased effort to speak (39.47 percent). Laryngeal endoscopy: 100 percent unilateral, 94.7 percent located at anterior two third, 89.5 percent at free edge of the vocal fold, peduncular or non peduncular form. 81.6 percent was no hoarseness after surgery. Most of cases the vocal fold were normal and good closure. All of cases improuved the quality of voice, 60.5 percent normal by voice analysis. Conclusion: Polypectomy by flexible laryngoscope for vocal fold polyps is simple, efficient method, reduce discomfort and cost savings for patients.
