Railways Act 2005 regulations required all kinds of locomotives operating on the rail should be fitted with recording equipment and management of operational data (black box). The diesel locomotive on the railway operators in Vietnam (Viet Nam Railways) is now using the measuring system log, display speed by various countries to produce structural information quality and reliability are different. The contents of the paper presents the system configuration options which the locomotive speed record requirements to ensure compliance with the conditions of the Viet Nam Railways.
