The sequentials cycles by i-dose cytarabin could produce long term relapse free survival. Objective: Study the change of clinical features and hematology index in the patients with acute myelogenous leukemia after chemotherapy by i-dose cytarabin. Patients and method: 26 patients with acute myelogenous leukemia in complete remission after intensive course, who were taken i-dose cytarabin and done clinical examination and hematology test. Results: Rate of anemia, hemorhage, fever, infections increased in 7-21th day and decreased after 21 days of therapy. Hemoglobin was lowest in 18th day (98.08 + or - 14.97g/l). Platelet and white blood cell index were lowest in 14th day (13.42 + or - 9.31 g/I and 1.04 + or - 0.61 g/I). Hemoglobin, platelet and white blood cell index recovered near completely after 24 days of therapy (105.86 + or - 14.57 g/l, 154.31 + or - 170.77 g/l, 3.90 + or - 1.72 g/l). Time of recover neutrophils or = 0.5 g/l was 19.46 + or - 3.10 days. Conclusion: The clinical features and hematology index were severe in 7-14th days and recovered near completely after 21-24 days of therapy.
