The quantitative analysis of the serum thyroglobulin (Tg) has been being used widely in clinical practice to monitor the recurrent and metastatic state of thyroid cancer's patients who underwent the total thyroidectomy or iodoradiation therapy. Study value of serum thyroglobulin in prognosis of recurrent and metastatic state of thyroid cancer The study shows that Serum thyroglobulin 10ng/ml is a valuable test in monitoring the recurrence and metastasis in thyroid cancer patients who underwent the total thyroidectomy and I131 therapy (P0,05).
