For better service of medical examination and treatment for soldiers, since 2009, the No.108 Central Military Hospital has consolidated its examination process. To compare data between two professional stages of 2007-2008 and 2009-2011 showed that the number of patients on active military medical examination later stage compared with the previous period increased. The ordinary people reception for the treatment did not increase, maintaining about 5,700 to 6,000 patients/year. There were 550 emergency patients annually in the hospital. The rate of hospital beds used remained stable, about 20 percent. Their treatment stay on the average decreased from 12.7 days to 11.9 days, but still higher than the general index of hospitals. Currently, soldiers' health is quite good, mostly with mild illness, so as for the medical treatment measure option, out-patient treatment takes priority. In clinics, the patients who are soldiers are accessible to many clinical techniques as well as high technologies for diagnosis and treatment. In addition to medical examination and treatment for soldiers, hospital patients are also those who bear health insurance, retired soldiers, the relatives of soldiers. and the ordinary people. These sources of patients themselves contribute to facilitating the hospital to maintain and develop techniques and in turn to serve our troops as well as to be ready to meet other unexpected tasks.
