Study on Rh blood group system's antigens and phenotype to built rare blood bank in NIHBT is very important and necessary to ensure sufficient and timely supplying rare blood units for patients who need to transfuse rare blood units and patients need to transfuse compability blood group. Obiectives: "Study on Rh blood group system's antigens and phenotype in blood donors to built rare blood bank in NIHBT". Materials: Include 303,629 first blood donors donate blood in NIHBT from 1st January 2007 to 30th June 2011 and 1,819 repeat volunteers who were typed Rh blood group's antigens: D, C, c, E, e. Methods: Using microplate technique on Olympus machine system to type ABO, Rh(D) for first blood donors and using gelcard technique to type Rh blood group's antigens: D, C, c, E, e for repeat volunteers. Results: Through study on 303,629 first blood donors' blood group, the authors found that ratio of first blood donors had Rh(D) positive was 99.853 percent and ratio of first blood donors had Rh(D) negative was 0.147 percent. Ratio of first blood donors had group A, D negative was 0.03 percent
  group B, D negative was 0.04 percent
  group O, D negative was 0.07 percent
group AB, D negative was 0.008 percent. Ratio of D, C, c, E, e positive in volunteers was 97.7 percent: 93.2 percent: 41.9 percent: 29.7 percent: 97.1 percent respectively. Rh blood group system's common phenotypes were DCCee (55.3 percent)
  DCcEe (22.1 percent)
DCcee (12 percent) and Rh blood group system's rare phenotypes were ddccEe (0.1 percent)
  DCCEE (0.06 percent)
ddCcEe (0.06 percent), ddCcEE, ddccEE, ddCCEe, ddCCEE (0 percent). Conclusions: Ratio of first blood donors had Rh(D) negative was 0.147 percent
  Group A, D negative was 0.03 percent
  group B, 0 negative was 0.04 percent
  group 0, 0 negative was 0.07 percent
group AB, 0 negative was 0.008 percent. Volunteers who had Rh blood group system's rare phenotypes: ddCcEE
  ddccEE
  ddCCEe
  ddCCEE, ddccEe (0.1 percent)
  DCCEE (0.06 percent)
ddCcEe (0.06 percent) were selected, consulted to take part in rare blood bank in NIHTB.
