Patients and Methods: 40 patients with as syndrome were selected by the criteria: (1) has at least one clinical symptom and (2) has at least one abnormal index of the as syndrome on the electrophysiological study throught method prospective study with comparison to controls. Results. Clinically, 80 percent patients have a numbness of lateral four fingers, 50 percent abductor pollicis brevis weakness, 7.5 percent amyotrophy and 72.5 percent have Tinel's sign and Phalen's test.
