The research results on morphologic characteristics and seed oil of local Camellia sp. varieties reveals a relatively diversify of morphologies of stem, branches, leaves, fruits and seeds. The Camellia sp. varieties are named based on differences of morphologic characteristics, e.g. tea camellia, orange camellia, pomegranate camellia, persimmon camellia ... These varieties of the Camellia sp. often expose characteristics like early branching and multi-stem from the fifth year. The number of trees with more than two stems accounts for 35-100 percent in total of trees in those varieties. Size of camellia fruits and seeds varies on the camellia varieties with fruit diameter and fruit height ranging from 2.6-5.4 cm and 2.7-5.2 cm respectively. The number of averaged seeds per fruit in the Camellia sp. ranges from 4-10 seeds, seed sizes ranging from 1.4-1.8 cm in diameter and 1.9-2.4 cm in height. Oil content of dried Camellia sp. seeds experiences a noticeable fluctuation, varying from 29.7 percent to 53.2 percent while other elements of seed oil such as protein, iodine, saponin index expose no significant difference among the camellia varieties. The density and refringent index show no difference among the camellia varieties.
