Subject were carried out survey for the presence and counts of E.coli bacteria on 86 samples collected randomly from public market in Thai Nguyen center during 2 sampling periods (6 months in 2011 and 5 months in 2012). Results indicated that: The level of infection in the sampling points in the province of Thai Nguyen city ranged from 73 CFU/g to 5.7 x 10 exponent 2 CFU/g. According to the three sale ways: (I) in managed markets, (2) the temporary market, (3) at the supermarket, non-standard sample rate of E.coli bacteria is accounted for 0 percent to 59.3 percent. The bacterium were characterized biochemical properties and isolates detemined belonged to a number of serogroups which can cause food poisoning in humans. To survey the level of antibiotic susceptibility of 20 strains bacteria. Results indicated that: (95 percent) sensitive to Amikacin, (85.0 percent) Nortloxacin, (80.0 percent) Enrotlxacin, Cephalothin and Gentamycin is in turn orderm 70.0 percent and 65.0 percent. Strong strains of E. coli isolates were resistant to Tetracycline (100 percent) and Colistin (95 percent). Some other commonly used antibiotics: Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, Ampicillin, Streptomycin resistance ratio, respectively: 80 percent, 75 percent, 70 percent.
