Recently, the distributed generators and renewable energy resources have been widely applied on planning and operating of distribution systems due to the restructure of electricity market and the development of technology. However, the power of these distributed generators is uncertain due to primary energy so the energy storage system is used to improve the efficiency of them. This paper proposes a novel approach to determine maximum profits of distributed generators as well as optimizes power and capacity of energy storage system in competitive electricity markets. The proposed model is applied to test for wind generators. The calculation is programmed by GAMS environment.
