Two methods for improving physico-mechanical properties of polymer epoxy films were used: 1) Decreasing of molecular networks of cured epoxy resin by using cyano-ethyldiethylenetriamine (CEDETA) instead of diethylenetriamine (DETA)
and 2) Adding of small quantity (6wt percent) of epoxidized liquid natural rubber (ELNR) to the epoxy resin. It is shown that for both epoxy resins ED-20 and Epikote 828, CEDETA provides higher physicomechanical properties in comparison with DETA, such as impact strength increases 1.8-2.0 times. The ELNR particles with dimension about 1-5 um play role as elastic additive to prevent microcrack propagation in polymer epoxy under load, therefore increase impact strength, cupping and scratch properties 103 percent, 72.7 percent and 80 percent, respectively.
