The amniotic membrane stem cell can differentiate into different mature cells. The aim of study is to examine the process of isolating and culturing of stem cells isolated from amniotic membranes. Method: The stem cell was isolated by trypsin, pereoll and characterised its by marker OCT-4. Results: Protocol for isolation of stem cells from amniotic membrane has high efficiency. Amniotic membrane stem cells collected express OCT-4. Conclusion: Amniotic stem cells can be isolated from amniotic membrane by trypsin, collagenase B and pereoll.
