Modification technology is one of the methods to improve quality of wood and wood products. Applying nano technology to modify wood is a trend today because of its effect and no environment pollution. Materials used in this study was Pronus arborea Kalkm veneer, thickness 0.5 mm. Chemical used was nano titanium dioxyde (TiO2) particles. Veneers were soaked in nano solution prepared from titanium dioxyde (TiO2) and distilled water, using pressure, time, temperature technique which were fixed. Concentration of (TiO2) changed at three levels: 0.5 g/l, 1 g.1 and 1.5 g/l. The treated veneers were investigated on water uptake (WU), tangential swelling (TS), colour change, the bonding quality of veneer, the frequency and depth of crack. The results showed that properties of veneer were improved clearly. On the other hand we could see infuence of the soaking time and the chemical concentration are important Namely, rate of abration and stable dimention of veneer improved. In addition the veneer colour was faster when the time and concentration increase.
