The study was conducted on 35 platelet apheresis donors in Hue Regional Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center - Hue Central Hospital. It was found out, after apheresis, donors' platelets clearly decreased 90.3 + or - 8.6 G/l, equivalent to 34.59 percent but donor haven't 100G/l after apheresis. After 3 days, the platelets was clearly increased compared with after apheresis. The unexpected clinical signs of platelet donors were rarely shown and, if shown, were mild, did not affect the health of donors and apheresis process. The average volume of platelets was 300.3 + or - 9.4 ml.The average platelet count was 341.1 + or - 50.2 G/I. The average density of platelets was 1134.1 + or - 151.3 G/l. The count of red blood cells, white blood cells were a little existed in the bag.
