Hanoi city Urban Railway Construction Project, South Thang Long - Tran Hung Dao section (Line 2) (herein after referred to as Hanoi Metro Line -2) funded by JICA consisting of urban tunneling section of 9 km with underground and 7 Stations passing through old Hanoi town. This area has his historical town-scape and scenic tourism resources. In this paper, the authors evaluated ground surface by bored tunneling as well as station excavation by cut and cover method. Based on these settlement results, the influence to adjacent buildings are valuated applying empirical and numerical methods to provide several suggestions and recommendations.
