Objectives: To evaluate the effect on the recovery sensory function of the injection Depomedrol into the transverse carpal ligament in the treatment of Carpal tunnel syndrome. Method: 45 patients with Carpal tunnel syndrome were examined clinically, electrophysiological test and injected the Depomedrol into transverse carpal ligament. This was an interventional prospective study, comparing the outcome before and after treatment. Results: The symptoms of subjective sensory were improved very early, after two weeks of treatment. The symptoms of objective feeling disorders recovered more slowly. After two months of treatment, 77.78 percent of patients completely get out of numbness, 15.56 percent had light numbness. 80 percent of patient had a good status of objective feeling, 13.34 percent had fairly good status of objective feeling. The patients could not recover or very slowly recovered was only 6.66 percent.
