Seven compounds were isolated from the aerial part of the Hedyotis vestita R. Br. ex G. Don., including, phytol (1), rutine (2), isohrametin 3-0-rutinoside (3), vomifoliol 9-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4), auricularin (5), 6a-methoxygenyposide (6), and sodium (1S,4aR,5R,7aR)-7-hydroxymethyl-5-methoxy-l-beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy-1,4a,5,7a-tetrahydrocyclopenta[c]pyran-4-carboxylate (7). These compounds are the first time to our knowledge known to be present in Hedyotis vestita. The chemical structures of these compounds were elucidated by using spectroscopic methods 1D-, 2D-NMR, HR-ESI-MS as well as in comparison with data in the literature.
