This study was performed from May, 2009 to Jan., 2012. Total number of fifty exotic sugarcane varieties with prospect of alum and waterlogging resistance was sort-listed of tolerance of overflow in artificial condition and red-rot disease (Glomerella tucumanensis Muller) screening through India's Plug Method. The research result showed that seventeen sugarcane varieties satisfied. In them, sugarcane varieties named K88-92 (Uthong 1 x PL310), KK6 (parental-unknown), K95-84 (K90-79 x K84-200), K95-161 (K84-200 x Ehaew), K95-283 (079 x open), KUOO-1-58 (Uthong 3 x NCo310), K94-32 (095 x Chainat 1), K88-200 (ROC1 x CP63-588), K93-219 (Uthong 1 x Ehaew), LK92-11 (K84-200 x Ehaew) and Ty70-17 (C87-51 x Ja60-5) were tested in Long An - Ben Tre region under Testing Regulation of 10 TCN 298-97. The individual K88-92 was suitable for test production in this region.
