Benign neoplasms of the sinonasal tract, which were traditionally approached via open transfacial or craniofacial routes, are now being successfully resected in a minimally invasive fashion with endoscopic sinus instrumentation. Purpose: Analysis the roles of endoscopic examination and CT scans of sinonasal papillomas. Evaluation on results of endoscopic treatment of sinonasal papillomas. Patients and methods: The authors studied 46 cases sinonasal papillomas, in National ENT Hospital from August 2009 to August 2011, including 44 cases of endoscopic removal of sinonasal papilloma. Results: specific lesion 82,6 percent, liked polyp 17,4 percent, unilateral 95,7 percent, On CT Scan:+ Opacification of middle meatus, maxillary sinus: 71,7 percent, anterior ethmoid sinus: 67,4 percent + Opacification of ethmoid sinus and erosion of the wall ethmoid cells equal invasive tumour. Good results of endoscopic removal of sinonasal papilloma: 79,5 percent. Recurrent rate: 11,3 percent in 6-24 months follow up. Conclusions: Lesions on CT scans more than on endoscopic surgery. Endoscopic surgery of sinonasal papillomas is safe and few complications.
