The determination of cable tension force of suspension bridges and cable-stayed bridges during construction and use process is very necessary and important. The data reliability of cable tension force will help engineers to control and evaluate the state of stress of the bridge and deformation of the bridge. In this paper the authors introduce the results the vibration equipment application to determine the cable tension force of the Han river bridge in Da Nang city. The results were examined by direct measurement method and showed high reliability. Measurement methods are introduced in this paper can apply for suspension bridges and cable-stayed bridges.
